The following information should answer questions regarding accessibility at KAABOO Texas. KAABOO Texas is an accessible event, and we are dedicated to continually improving our efforts to ensure you have access to all festival amenities. We welcome and encourage feedback and suggestions from our guests. If you have any additional questions, by all means contact us via email at: email@example.com.
The venue is navigable for people with mobility disabilities. There are accessible pathways connected throughout the venue including parking, entrances, stages, vendors and all other activity areas. There will be accessible golf carts available to transport guests with mobility issues from the parking areas to the venue entrance. However, golf carts are not available (other than for Rock Star guests) within the venue. KAABOO Texas does not provide or rent wheelchairs or scooters.
There are designated spots available for guests with valid handicap placards, plates and/or permits, as well as the applicable proof that it belongs to them. You will need to purchase an On-Site Parking Pass to access this parking area.
Please follow signage or ask staff upon entering the festival how to access this lot.
*Please note that it is against the law to park in a accessible parking space without the required ADA credentials or to fraudulently use someone else’s in order to gain access to ADA parking spots.*
If you have accessibility questions inside the venue at KAABOO Texas, please ask at the festival’s Guest Services booths or at the viewing platforms. We will provide a location to recharge wheelchair batteries and/or other assistive technology requiring electrical recharging.
Accessible Viewing Areas
There will be accessible viewing areas at the following stages: Metroplex, Pegasus, and Maverick. Banquet style folding chairs will be available at each accessible viewing area.
There is no pre-registration or anything you need to do in advance. Simply show up to the accessible viewing areas to gain admittance to these areas.
*Please note that, as with any festival seating, these areas are filled first come first serve. Please plan accordingly and arrive early.*
These accessible viewing areas are for guests who use wheelchairs or who have significant mobility disabilities that prevent them standing for long periods of time. Guests requiring the use of these areas can have one companion accompany them. Staff will manage the viewing platform accordingly to make sure all patrons are comfortable during busy times.
Please make your requests as soon as possible, and no later than April 12, 2019, 4 weeks prior to KAABOO Texas. Send requests to: firstname.lastname@example.org.

KAABOO Texas welcomes and supports the rights and attendance of all guests with disabilities that rely on the special skills of a trained service animal. What we DO NOT support or tolerate are pets being misrepresented by their owners as service animals, when in fact they are not. So please, don’t do it. Leave your pet at home.
Service Animal Definition
A “service animal’ means “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the handler’s disability.”
Emotional support, comfort, or therapy animals are not considered service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and therefore are not allowed at KAABOO Texas.
Service Animal Procedures
What will you need to do? It’s easy. Once you arrive at KAABOO Texas, go to either the West Gate or East Gate. Let gate staff know you would like to gain entrance with your service animal. The Accessibility Crew will speak with you, record your contact information, and provide a collar tag for your service animal. Then you are good to go! Security/Staff will be on the lookout for all animals to have a properly credentialed KAABOO Texas collar tag.
Please understand, service animals are allowed, all other dogs are not!
